Your assignments

To boost our human resources management strategy, we have created the position of “Head of Human Resources, Development and Administration”. Working with our “Head of Labour and Employee Relations”, this person will be responsible for offering a human resources strategy in France that is in line with the overall strategy of the company, both in the sub-region of Western Europe and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), in relation with the region’s HR department.

The position to be filled is in the head office in France, in Fresnes, near Paris. Main responsibilities:

Creation and implementation of a human resources strategy

  • Drawing up the HR reports for HR managers in Western Europe and EMEA to effectively implement the needs of France in the global strategy
  • Adapt the actions of the HR department in France to the HR strategy of EMEA and Western Europe
  • Support the corporate strategy of FMC France by organising a suitable HR strategy and include the HR point of view in operational activities

 

 

HR support in the company

  • Provide professional services and advice for clients and/or healthcare authorities on HR matters
  • Carry out essential HR services (adapting staffing levels to needs, recruitment, performance management systems, talent management, recognition and bonus systems, personnel and salary management, training and development, HR strategies, HR IT systems, etc.)
  • Delegate and guide HR activities and processes at local level in France
  • Assist local managers in matters of managing employees and their development, adapting career development of executives in collaboration with regional managers
  • Help to identify and manage issues connected with personnel and the main change schemes
  • Provide assistance in resolving problems in the HR community
  • Adapt the actions of the HR department in France to the HR strategy of EMEA and Western Europe
  • Decide alongside local managers on the necessary and most suitable HR support
  • Draw up reports on the needs of the company at the centre of excellence and at SHRBP Western Europe and provide the necessary information to facilitate implementation locally
  • Inform all managers and local HR departments of standards, ensure they are understood and accepted, and that they are implemented
  • Manage standards, tools and processes if necessary so they can be correctly implemented
  • Provide feedback on cooperation to SHRBP Western Europe and to managers and local HR departments
  • Provide feedback to SHRBP Western Europe (and in some cases directly to the CoE) on upgrading standards, processes and tools
  • Provide information to start-up projects to improve quality and efficiency of HR in the EMEA zone, and take part in implementing these projects

  • Ensure that the HR policies respect the safety and compliance policies of Fresenius Medical Care

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced HR professional, capable of running and managing the company’s departments, ensuring they thrive: adjustment of staffing levels to needs, recruitment, performance management systems, talent management, recognition and bonus systems, training and career advancement. He or she will also have to boost and consolidate existing processes for managing personnel for the good of the company.

 

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic person with some experience in similar positions in all aspects of human resources, preferably in the life sciences sector. He or she should enjoy working in an international environment and in matrix structures. He or she should be highly motivated to contributing to a collaborative corporate culture, and should be able to reach high performance levels and objectives.
